In 2014, I founded iPhix, a venture that dove deep into the domain of personal device repair. From the outset, our mission was crystal clear: to provide exceptional, high-quality repair services using the best parts, tools, and experienced professionals. What made us stand out in a sea of competitors was our unwavering commitment to this standard. We never settled for the ordinary; we focused on premium quality parts, maintained strict repair guidelines, and utilized top-tier tools and procedures, all while ensuring our prices remained fair and competitive.
Our approach was swiftly recognized and celebrated. Within a short span, we expanded to six branches across Northern Ireland. As a testament to our dedication and professionalism, we were nominated and shortlisted for numerous business awards in various categories. But beyond awards, our true success was echoed by the major contracts we secured with renowned companies like Coca Cola and Northern Ireland Electricity, along with various health and education authorities, and several insurance companies.
By 2022, our efforts had culminated in an impressive milestone: over 250,000 repairs under our belt. Our commitment to excellence reflected in the feedback from thousands of satisfied customers, garnering us a stellar review score of 4.9/5. iPhix rapidly evolved into a seven-figure business, showcasing its immense potential.
As the journey continued and the landscape evolved, I made the decision to sell iPhix in early 2023. While it was a poignant moment, reflecting on our achievements and the impact we made remains a source of immense pride for me.
Timescape - Live Escape Games

In 2018, driven by a passion for immersive gaming experiences, my brother David and I co-founded Timescape – Live Escape Games. The journey that started with a single game room soon expanded to four captivating escape games. From the historical undertones of “Titanic – The Final Hour” to the chilling mysteries in “Jack The Ripper – Murder Mystery”, we crafted adventures that appeal to diverse players. Our magical adventure “Spellbound – A Wizards Trial” has been a favourite among many, but our latest addition in 2023, “Pandora – Hell on Earth”, has elevated the stakes, offering not just complexity, but also a thrilling, spine-chilling experience.
Being escape game enthusiasts ourselves, turning our passion into a full-fledged enterprise was a journey packed with challenges, learning, and immense rewards. We have been recognized as the number one fun activity in Belfast on TripAdvisor, further validated by an impressive average score of 4.9/5 from literally thousands of combined reviews on Google and trip TripAdvisor.
In December 2022, we celebrated a significant milestone – our 10,000th game. It’s heartening to see our brainchild grow at an astounding 24% year on year, and our aspirations for Timescape only rise with time. Within the next 12 months, we’re excited to introduce two more rooms in Belfast and our eyes are set on expanding to new horizons, possibly Dublin or Mainland UK.

In the summer of 2021, on the 1st of July, I introduced a sanctuary to the world: Yaseva Lodge. This luxury private lodge for two is nestled in the tranquil countryside, offering uninterrupted vistas spanning over 16 miles, culminating in the breath-taking Mourne Mountains. Though immersed in this serene backdrop, the lodge boasts a prime location, just a mere 10 minutes from Lisburn and a quick 20-minute journey to Belfast.
Every aspect of Yaseva Lodge is meticulously curated. From the lavish super king bed, a luxuriously decorated interior with a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom boasting a hotel-grade power shower, we’ve ensured our guests lack for nothing. Additional amenities such as superfast Wi-Fi, a private balcony, and secure parking only add to the unparalleled guest experience. But the true essence of our lodge, as echoed by many, lies in two pivotal elements: the rejuvenating hot tub and the unrivalled panoramic views.
Aswell as being tourist board approved our commitment to excellence hasn’t gone unnoticed. We were we approached for a feature in the TV program “4 in a bed,” but the daily testimonials from our guests are the real badges of honour. With a consistent rating of 9.8/10 on booking.com from over 300 reviews and a perfect 5/5 score on Google, it’s evident that our guests cherish their moments at Yaseva Lodge.
So, what makes our haven so special? It’s the alchemy of myriad little details. We r VR - Mobile Virtual Reality
In September 2019, I noticed a gap in the market: the emergence of high-end, portable VR headsets, it instantly hit me that we can now take this type of entertainment to people for events, weddings, or parties. That insight led to the birth of “We R VR.”
we started to gain traction through the last few months of 2019 , but like many ventures, we faced challenges. When COVID-19 emerged, the focus shifted to ensuring my other businesses stayed afloat. “We R VR” had to wait.
However, post-pandemic, as we got back to business, we reignited the opportunity and today, “We R VR” has emerged as a go-to for high-end VR entertainment in Northern Ireland. working with come of the biggest establishments in the country.
